Joint Stock Company "Tengri Bank" informs about election of new Board of Directors
Following the results of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Joint Stock Company Tengri Bank (hereinafter referred to as the Bank), held on July 24, 2020, new composition of the Board of Directors of the Bank was elected:
- Yerzhan Shaikenov - Chairman of the Board of Directors
- Sanjay Varshney - Member of the Board of Directors
- Arun Shrivastava - Member of the Board of Directors - Independent Director
- Igor Goverdovskiy - Member of the Board of Directors - Independent Director
- Evgeniy Seipulnik - member of the Board of Directors - independent director
Yerzhan Shaikenov – Master in "Banking and International Finance" specialty of Cass Business School, City University (London, UK). Has extensive experience in the banking sector, including ABN AMRO Bank Kazakhstan JSC, ATF Bank JSC, Temirbank JSC. Since September 2015 to June 2019 hold post as Chairman of the Board of JSC Tengri Bank.
Sanjay Varshney -Certified Associate Member of the Indian Institute of Bankers. He started his career at Punjab National Bank (PNB) on September 30, 1991. Has been working in executive positions since 2009. Currently holds the position of General Director (Treasury, head office of Punjab National Bank).
Arun Srivastava has nearly 35 years of experience in all key banking segments, in particular corporate lending, strategic planning, debt restructuring, asset monitoring and recovery. He was in charge of key banks in India, including Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Syndicate Bank.
Igor Goverdovsky has five-year degree in accounting and finance. Education in the Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business, Columbus, Ohio, USA, June 2000. Director of Berkshire Capital Partners Ltd. - an Irish investment fund.
Evgeniy Seipulnik - General Director of Solutio Law Firm LLP (Kazakhstan - Great Britain), Chairman of the Public Council at the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund JSC. He has extensive legal and management experience in commercial and government structures.
The issue of changing the composition of the Board of Directors of the Bank was included into agenda of Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the Bank initiated by local shareholders owning more than 5% of the Bank's shares.
